Commercial Estimator for Developer:
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar.
- 3-7 years of estimating experience for commercial buildings.
- Experience estimating commercial projects of $15+ million dollars.
- Knowledge of architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to analyze bids, proposal, estimates, including labor rates, fringe benefits, overhead, and profit.
- Has a working knowledge of construction law and practices.
- Ability to communicate with trade partners, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Thorough and attentive to details; organizational skills and can run multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, plans, specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as other computer and web based applications. Bluebeam & Buildertrend knowledge encouraged.
