Project Engineer- Construction

The Project Engineer (PE) is the manager of all construction documents.  They are the construction department’s subject expert on building plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, ProCore system and any other documents related to the construction of the project.  The PE works closely with the Project Manager, Superintendents, Purchasing, and outside consultants, such as the Architect and Engineers, to ensure that the most accurate information is available to all parties working on the project.  The project engineer must understand the workflows of a project from preconstruction through closeout of the project, and must be constantly communicating with the various entities, as issues arise on the project.   The responsibilities of a Project Engineer include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Plan Management
  • Budget Adherence
  • RFI, ASI, Addendum Management
  • Contract Review
  • Submittal Review
  • Change Orders
  • Communication through company platforms (ProCore)

 

Seeking candidates with BS and 1-3 years of construction experience.  Knowledge of BlueBeam preferred.
