Looking for an applicant who has 2 or more years of experience in construction management or civil engineering.
- Assemble bid packages with all documents.
- Obtain and qualify all bids and attend pre-bid meetings.
- Administer all contracts and purchase orders with subcontractors.
- Administer, negotiate, and implement all change order requests.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers.
- Keep management informed and updated on project progress and properly hand off when the time comes.
- Infrequent travel may be required.
Background
- Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand industry scopes of work.
- College Degree in construction or civil, preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in estimating construction projects related to excavation
